Shanti Sparrow is an award winning Australian designer, illustrator, educator and problem solver living and creating in New York City.
Shanti Sparrow has been named one of GDUSA’s People to Watch in 2021 and one of 33 Women Doing Amazing Things in Graphic Design by Canva. Sparrow has also been listed in 15 Inspiring Illustrators to Follow on Instagram by Creative Market, 60 of the Best Graphic Designers to Follow on Behance and 100 must follow Pinterest Accounts for Graphic Designers by Creative Boom.
Sparrow has a vibrant and bold approach to design. In a style described as loudly minimal, she creates visual identities filled with individuality and personality. Her expressive typography, grid experimentation and confident colour palettes create memorable and iconic designs.
Sparrow specialises as a conceptual designer and collaborates with many not-for-profit clients that create awareness and raise funds for important humanitarian, environmental and research based causes.
As an educator Sparrow is dedicated to shaping and supporting the next generation of designers through mentorship, workshops and innovating learning resources. She champions accessibility, inclusivity and diversity in her role as Senior Visual Content Designer at Adobe.
As an illustrator Sparrow has a unique illustration style that involves scanned textures, vector patterns and digital collage. Her subjects mainly involve animals and nature. These enchanting characters all have names and background stories and are inspired by her travels. Sparrow has published children books, greeting card, games, calendars and limited edition suitcase collection.
